University of Makati Grand Reunion and Homecoming (Class 1974 – 2009)

This morning I recieved a mail for my Alma Mater and inviting me and all the Alumni of University of Makati to come to Umak Gran Reunion and Homecoming from Class 1974  to Class 2009.

Dear Alumni:

 

We are very pleased to inform you that the University of Makati alumni community will be having its GRAND REUNION AND HOMECOMING for Class 1974 to Class 2009 of Makati Polytechnic Community College, Makati College, Pamantasan ng Makati and University of Makati on June 30, 2010.  Recognizing this very special occasion, we are declaring June 26, 29 & 30, 2010 as “ALUMNI WEEK” to gather all graduates to take active part in the three-day celebration.

Program of Activities is as follows:

June 26 (Sat.) – General Assembly and Election (Board of Trustees & Officers)
June 29 (Tues.) – Thanksgiving Mass, Alumni Sports Fest and Fund-Raising
Concert featuring “Sing-Out Makati” (UMak Alumni Singing Ambassadors), and MAPSA Symphonic Band
June 30 (Wed.) – Grand Reunion & Homecoming (Alumni Fellowship Night)

To support this event, we shall be collecting the amount of P500.00 to defray the following expenses, viz:

 

P200 –   Buffet Dinner (with flowing coffee and other drinks)
P125 –   Alumni Souvenir Kit (t-shirt, mug, cap, key chain, pictures, newsletter, reports, etc.)
P100 –   AMAP/ASAP (Alumni Medical, Special Assistance and Scholarship Program fund)
P  75 –   Miscellaneous (venue, performers and other related expenses)

At this point, we would like to get a head start as how many people are attending on the biggest alumni gathering ever. This will be very useful in budget planning for venue, food, kits and souvenirs, etc.
